The Obama administration last month decided to close enrollment for people with pre-existing conditions under the new healthcare law. This program, known as PCIP was deemed by the Administration as too costly.
This is a serious problem to the residents of Indiana now that the health plan has caused the Indiana High Risk Pool to go into shut down leaving no options for the uninsurable in Indiana. Shutting down the PCIP without any warning by the Obama administration gives us great cause for concern on how they will run the new exchanges.
